Dedicated to Preserving Our County’s History
Our Story and Mission
Founded in January 1956 at the Marshall County Courthouse, the Historical Society has spent decades committed to safeguarding the rich heritage of our region.
We focus on authenticity, educational value, and fostering community engagement through exhibits, archival collections, and public programs.

Our Volunteers
Our dedicated team of historians, archivists, and volunteers work tirelessly to maintain and expand the museum’s collections and educational programs.
Our collection of textiles includes a variety of wedding dresses, hats, children's clothes, military uniforms and more.
We invite you to learn more about us and become part of the effort to preserve Marshall County’s heritage for future generations.
